BIOGRAPHY 

Hello! We are Thistle and Ink Tattoo.

Head Tattoo Artist Emily (She/They) is a platinum award winning queer tattoo artist here in the Rogue Valley.  They have been a working artist for 22 years, attending art school at VCU in Richmond, Virginia. Art is their passion and they have been bringing that level of concentration to tattooing for the past five years. Winning the top award of The Rogue Valley in 2024, They are Platinum certified and continue to produce impeccable work full of style and finesse.

James (He/They) has been licensed since 2024, and is Emily's apprentice. It was their dream since they were 16 years old to pursue tattooing, and, with the love and support of Emily they have grown in expertise: Making a name for themselves as a trans and queer tattoo artist in the Rogue Valley.

They enjoy  a private, all inclusive studio in historic Downtown Medford, where they cater to clients' comfort, care, and artistic desire.  They live for custom work, and take the time to work with clients to design a piece that is truly special. They work in many styles, but tend to gravitate to illustrative fine art pieces. They work in both color and black and grey.
